Chicago Sky Fall Short Against Atlanta Dream in Home Game Thriller



In a high-intensity home game, the Chicago Sky fell to the Atlanta Dream 80-89. Despite a valiant effort in the fourth quarter, the Sky couldn't fully recover from a slow start that saw them trailing by 14 points after the first quarter. The loss brings Chicago's record to 4-6, while Atlanta improves to 5-4.


First Quarter Woes: Dream's Early Dominance

The game started on a hopeful note for the Sky as Diamond DeShields hit a pull-up jumper to make it 4-2 just a minute in. However, Chicago then missed six consecutive shots and committed three turnovers, allowing Atlanta to go on a 15-2 run.
