Big Games You Won’t Want to Miss
As Blackhawk fans, none of us want to miss any games this season, but these games give us more reason not to; in all of their own ways.
October 8th at Utah Hockey Club
This game gives two reasons: it’s the NHL’s opening night (this is one of 3 games that night for the NHL), and the Blackhawks will take on the NHL’s newest team.
October 17th vs San Jose Sharks
The game is the Blackhawks’ home opener, plus it is against the team that has the first overall draft pick, Macklin Celebrini.
November 6th vs Detroit Red Wings
The loss of Patrick Kane to the Red Wings may be something Blackhawk fans may never get over, making this game one to pay extra attention to this season.
November 27th vs Dallas Stars
The night before Thanksgiving is a great reason to get the family together to go to or watch the game!
December 2nd at Toronto Maple Leafs
The player connection crossovers like Tyler Bertuzzi and T.J. Brodie have a huge effect on this game. This will be the first time they’ll face their old club.
December 23rd at Minnesota Wild
Another game close to the holidays, this division rivalry will help get the family together to see the match!
December 31st against St. Louis Blues
The Winter Classic is always a fun event! This is the first time since 2009 that the Blackhawks have been to Wrigley Field.
January 20th vs Carolina Hurricanes
The Blackhawks signed Teuvo Teravained as a free agent on July 1st after he played for 8 seasons with the Hurricanes. His career started with the Blackhawks, including being on the team when they won the Stanley Cup in 2015.
April 6th vs Pittsburgh Penguins
It’s been brought to everyone’s attention that Sidney Crosby was the player Connor Bedard looked up to as a child; along with the first player he saw across the faceoff circle in his first-ever NHL game.
April 12th vs Winnipeg Jets
This is the final home game for the Blackhawks in the regular season, leaving 2 away games left before the playoffs.
Anticipation Builds for a Thrilling Season
